Soo Hong

Foundation Board Member

Soo Hong moved to the United States at the age of 10 without knowing English. She’s always been passionate about reading and learning so not being able to participate in school when she moved to the United States encouraged her more to read and learn English. Soo was grateful to have attentive teachers and volunteers that read her books to help her learn English. She has fond memories of spending time at the local library daily. Soo wants to bring her passion for reading to the community, especially to younger children. She volunteers with a local non-profit organization focused on literacy by reading to grade school children after school.

Soo received her B.S. at Georgia Institute of Technology and J.D. from Mercer University. Soo is an attorney with offices in Marietta and Duluth.  Soo’s main practice areas include Bankruptcy, Personal Injury, and Criminal Defense. She is the recipient of the prestigious Ross Adams Younger Lawyer Award in 2015 and has been continuously recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star which is given to less than 2.5% of attorney in the State. She has also been featured as 2017 Attorneys to Watch in Atlanta Attorney at Law Magazine’s.
